    VICE PRESIDENT

  • Dr. Kelly Miller - Jimenez grew up in California involved in the world of hunter/jumpers and eventing, sparking a lifelong passion for the equine athlete. She pursued her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at Texas A&M University before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University, where she also met her husband, RJ Jimenez.

After graduation, Dr. Miller completed a rigorous year-long rotating internship at Equine Sports Medicine & Surgery (ESMS) in Weatherford, Texas. She then joined the team at Oklahoma Equine Hospital, where she gained extensive experience working major performance horse events, including NRCHA and NRHA competitions.

Driven by a deep commitment to equine sports medicine, Dr. Miller returned to her home state of California to take over what is now Select Equine Sports Medicine (formerly Granite Bay Equine). Her clinical focus is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term soundness of performance horses across disciplines.

Outside of veterinary practice, Dr. Miller enjoys spending quality time with her family, riding horses, and just about any activity that gets her outdoors.

  • Cassidy is Dr. Miller’s right hand and you will see her at almost every appointment. Whether on the clock or not, you’ll most likely find her at the barn. Besides riding she enjoys running, hiking with her dog Maverick, traveling, and spending time with loved ones and family.

She’s competed in multiple disciplines and has a profound appreciation for the equine athlete and their ability to persevere, adapt, and excel in various events. Her childhood dream come true will be when she has her own equine partner to conquer the upper levels of 3 day eventing.

She is pursuing her RVT license and we can’t wait to keep you updated on her journey.
